Built for the way goods actually arrive

A freight lift fails at the sill long before it fails at the machine. Loads are wheeled on, dropped and dragged across the entrance, so our freight elevators use reinforced steel sills, thick car floors and heavy-duty door tracks rated for pallet-truck impact.

Door openings are sized to the widest load, and power-operated vertical bi-parting or horizontal sliding doors are available so a forklift can approach squarely without a door leaf in its path.

Car construction and finish

Car walls are 2 mm steel plate with reinforcing ribs, finished in powder coat or stainless steel. Floors are checkered steel plate for grip, with stainless steel or hardwood deck options for clean environments.

For food and pharmaceutical use we supply coved, washable interiors with drainage and sealed light fittings; for cold stores, low-temperature packages with heaters on the door tracks and control cabinet.

Maintenance access and uptime

Industrial lifts are often the only route for stock, so uptime matters more than a marginal purchase saving. We supply a critical spares kit with each unit, keep controller and door-operator parts in stock, and provide a maintenance schedule keyed to running hours rather than calendar months.

For multi-shift operations, we can fit an operation counter and a remote monitoring module so the maintenance interval reflects actual use — and a fault is reported before the shift starts.
